Blackboard Verbs
READ BLACKBOARD Anyone:
Display all messages on blackboard
WRITE BLACKBOARD; {message} Officers:
Used to add a message to the blackboard.
NUDGE BLACKBOARD Used to rotate through the messages to the one you wish to erase.
RUB BLACKBOARD Used to erase a message from the blackboard.
SCRATCH BLACKBOARD Used to change sequence of messages on the blackboard.
LOOK BLACKBOARD Provides help.
 
Podium Verbs
TOUCH {podium} Used to identify yourself as an officer and provides help.

Note: {podium} refers to any meeting control item.

Others Houses can submit what and where their {podium} is or if they don't have one..
HIT {podium} Used to toggle "silencing" of room.
POINT {person} Used to give someone the right to speak, while the room is silenced.
Aside from recognized House Officers, only 1 other person may speak at at time, if the room is silenced.
     
FOOD CART Verbs
LOOK IN  {pantry} In the carved oak pantry you see a carafe of dandelion wine, a flagon of chilled carrot juice, a bowl of acorn bisque, a plate of herb-stuffed mushrooms, a bowl of spicy pickled crabapples, a spice-dusted creamy custard pie, some glazed rolton chops, some fresh green tossed salad, a large bowl of nut and fruit trail-mix, some sauteed dandelion roots and a bowl of baby dill pickles.
GET {food} FROM {pantry} You select a carafe of dandelion wine.
PUT {food} ON {cart} The {cart} can hold up to eight items at a time.
You carefully put the dandelion wine on a leaf-carved modwir food trolley.
TOSS MY {food} For items you take from the pantry but decide not to use (before you place it on the {cart}.)
You toss your dandelion wine away.
SLAP {cart} To clear the trolley whilst still at the pantry should you change your mind about the foods placed on it.
You tip the modwir food trolley and everything on it slides into the bin in the corner of the room.
PULL {cart} You lean down and pull the hand brake free of the wheels. The modwir food trolley rolls toward you and then stops, as if waiting.
PUSH {cart} You lean down and push the hand brake until it clicks. After straightening up, you give the modwir food trolley a good shove with one foot and lock it into place.
It will remain in place up to 5 days or until you send it back.
SLAP {cart} If you have finished with the modwir food trolley and want to send it back, slap it again within thirty seconds.

You lean down and take off the hand brake. Then, after you stand up, you slap the modwir food trolley smartly and it rolls off.
The trolley will empty itself once returned to the pantry.
     
     
BORROW {amount} FROM CLERK Treasurers can borrow for their Great House from the House Clerk.
     
DEPOSIT {amount} All Members:
In the presence of the CHE clerk, deposits coins into the
House general fund.  This is recorded per an automated in-game system seen by HOUSE NOTES.
     
ENDOW {amount} All Members:
In the presence of the CHE clerk, deposits coins into the
House endowment fund.  This is recorded per an automated in-game system seen by HOUSE NOTES.

Monies in the endowment can NEVER be withdrawn; rather the endowment generates interest that is deposited into the General Account.  The endowment is capped so one should check with their House Treasurer before endowing.

     
ENGRAVE {shield} ASCII All Members:

EXPEL {person} Chairman or Co-Chairman:
Used to expel a member from a Great House.  EXPEL no longer needs the member to be in the same room, but one other voting officer must be in the presence of the CHE clerk.
     
INITIATE  

Chairman or Co-Chairman:
In the presence of the CHE clerk and one other voting officer, used  to initiate a new house member.

     
INQUIRE  

All Members:
Used by House members at House Clerk's office to see their current House statistics.

     
INVEST {person} AS {position}

Used to make another player an officer.

 
PREPAY {amount} House treasurers may prepay {amount} on an outstanding loan balance.
     
RESIGN   RESIGN from your society or Great House.
 
TAP {portal}

Officers:
Used to toggle the ability for non-members to enter your house.  This is useful for events where you want to allow everyone to come inside.

 
WITHDRAW {amount}

House Treasurer or Co-Treasurer:
Used to withdraw silvers (no note issued) from the General Funds at the House Clerk's office.

HOUSE NEWS   Officers:
Allows officers to create, submit and post their own NEWS items via in-game commands.  The request for a news item must be two weeks in advance to the time it is expected to be posted. (not to be confused with two weeks prior to the event).  Once approved the news item will expire after 30 days.
HOUSE NEWS LIST Lists all of your House’s headlines with status.
HOUSE NEWS NEW {headline} Add a new NEWS item
HOUSE NEWS READ {item #} Reads the specified NEWS item.
HOUSE NEWS HEADLINE {item #} {headline} Edits the headline of specified news item.
HOUSE NEWS ADD {item #} {text} Adds a paragraph of text to specified news item.  Keep repeating this process for as many paragraphs as needed (up to 10 paragraphs allowed).
HOUSE NEWS EDIT {headline #} {paragraph #} {text} Adds on text to the specified paragraph within the target news item.

This command may be used for any communication between single Houses and the House Controller. Please feel free to use it in lieu of e-mail, unless the message is private and you'd prefer it only be seen by the House Controller. As well, messages to all Houses should use the current methods.

     
HOUSE ROSTER   Chairman or Secretary:
List members recorded on House roster
HOUSE ROSTER {number} Used to see anyone whose logged in within last {number} days.
i.e.:  HOUSE ROSTER 30.
     
HOUSE VOTE   Chairman or Secretary:
Houses may only have one active vote at a time.

All House members are eligible to vote in a House vote. To view or vote in a House vote, a House member must be somewhere on House grounds or in one of the House lounges and then type
VOTE HOUSE. A House member may change their vote at any point while the vote is open. If a vote has concluded, a House member may use VOTE HOUSE RESULTS to view the results (until they are cleared by an officer).

House votes may be either open ballot (the identities of the voters and their votes are shown) or secret ballot (only the number of votes for each option are shown), based on the selection of the administering officer. The results for a vote may only be viewed after the vote has been closed, and vote settings may not be changed after voting has begun.
